Whole bud coated in THC isolate until the white covers almost all the green. Sold as 3.5 grams, and it looks like it spent the night in a frost.

A bud in a white coat

Snow Balls start as whole buds of cannabis flower. We coat them in THC isolate until there’s more white on the outside than green. What you get looks like a bud that spent a January night outside.

They’re sold as 3.5 grams.

What is isolate?

THC isolate is THC on its own. It’s pulled out of the plant and cleaned until almost nothing else is left, which leaves a fine white powder with very little smell or taste. So Snow Balls don’t taste as wild as they look. Most of the flavour comes from the bud underneath.

Snow Balls and Moon Rocks

Snow Balls are in the same family as our Moon Rocks. Both start with a good bud and add something to the outside. Moon Rocks are dipped in oil and rolled in kief, so they’re dark and sticky and taste of hash. Snow Balls are coated in isolate, so they’re white, and the bud’s own taste comes through.

What it’s like

There’s a lot of concentrate on the outside of this bud. Coated flower like this is known for a big, heavy body high. If you don’t smoke often, talk to us before you pick one up.

How to use it

  • Break it by hand: a grinder knocks the coat off and keeps it. Pull the bud apart with your fingers or snip it with scissors.
  • In a pipe or bong: set a few small pieces on top of some regular flower.
  • In a joint: mix small pieces in with ground flower so it burns evenly.

Some of the white coat will fall off as you handle it. Break it up over a rolling tray or a sheet of paper, so you can tip the loose powder back in.

Keeping it fresh

Store Snow Balls in an airtight container somewhere cool and dark, and handle them gently so the coat stays where it is.
