Halloweed 2026: carve a pumpkin, wear a costume

Halloweed is back, and this year it’s two contests. One needs a pumpkin and a sharp knife. The other needs a costume and the nerve to wear it to a cannabis store.

Pumpkin drop-off opens Saturday, October 17.

The pumpkin contest

Carve a pumpkin. Anything you like: our logo, a ghost, a leaf, your honest opinion of Mondays. Bring it in any day from Saturday, October 17 to Halloween, and you leave with a free Lunar Spliff. You pick the blend from what’s on the shelf that day.

That’s one free Lunar Spliff for every carved pumpkin, and you don’t have to buy anything.

We photograph each pumpkin the day it comes in, and that photo is what we judge. So a pumpkin that’s gone a bit soft by Halloween hasn’t lost a thing. Then it goes on display with everybody else’s, inside the store or out front.

Our staff do the judging, and they’re looking for designs that are creative and cannabis-themed. The top three win a prize.

The costume contest

Halloween is a Saturday this year. Come in dressed up that day and we’ll give you a free pre-roll, no purchase needed. A bedsheet with two eye holes counts. We are not the costume police.

Spend $50 or more while you’re here and our everyday free pre-roll comes too, so that’s two.

First: A giant Halloweed Rice Krispy treat, 5,000 mg of THC
Second: 14 g of Snow Balls

Halloweed weekend

Halloweed weekend runs from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1, with deals and specials all three days. We’ll put the details here soon, so check back.

Winners

We name the winners on Monday, November 2: here, on our social media, and by phone. Winners have two weeks to collect their prize from the store.

The fine print

You must be 19 or older to enter a contest or to get a free item.
When you enter a contest, you agree that we can photograph your pumpkin or your costume and use the photos on our website and our social media.
You can get the free pre-roll without entering the costume contest.
Free items come from what we have in stock on the day.
Staff and their families can enter, but they cannot win.
We may not post every entry online.
