Where we are, how to get here off the 401, what to bring, and what happens when you walk in. Parking on site, wheelchair accessible, two ATMs.

The Native Flower shop front on a clear day, its gabled sign above the windows, with a young cannabis plant in the foreground.

We’re on Old Highway 2 on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, between Belleville and Napanee. If you’re driving any real distance, read this page first — it’ll save you a phone call from the shoulder of the 401.

Getting here

The 401 is how most people arrive. Napanee and Kingston to the east, Belleville and Toronto to the west. Take the Shannonville Road exit, follow it down to Old Highway 2, take a right. You’ll see the sign well before you see the building. That’s on purpose.

From the south, Highway 49 runs up from Picton and Prince Edward County and meets either Old Highway 2 or the 401 just east of us.

How far it is

Rough driving times in ordinary traffic:

  • From Belleville — about 20 minutes east, on Old Highway 2 or the 401.
  • From Napanee — about 25 minutes west on the 401.
  • From Trenton — about 35 minutes east on the 401, straight through Belleville.
  • From Picton — about 40 minutes north on Highway 49, over the bridge at Deseronto.
  • From Brighton — about 40 minutes east on the 401.
  • From Kingston — about 50 minutes west on the 401.

Winter adds to every one of those, and so does summer traffic through Prince Edward County in wine season. Coming a long way? Call ahead. We’ll tell you what the roads are doing and set aside what you’re driving out for, which beats finding out at the counter.

Parking

Customer parking on site, room for a dozen or more cars. Nobody has to park on the road.

Getting in

The store is wheelchair accessible.

What to bring

ID. We’re a 19+ store and we ask everyone, every time. Don’t take it personally — we ask people we went to school with.

Cash. We take cash, and there are two ATMs in the store if you forgot.

Your discount ID, if you have one. Official photo identification is what we’re after. A service ID, a veteran’s card, a status card, a student card — the deals page says which one goes with which discount. We’re flexible about the form it takes. We’re not flexible about being shown something.

What to expect

Someone will say hello, and then someone will ask what you’re after. If the answer is “no idea”, that’s a perfectly good answer and roughly half of what we hear.

Take as long as you like. We carry a lot of cultivars*, and the entire point of having staff who know them is that you don’t have to do the homework yourself. Ask us anything. We have time.

Would rather not come in? Call us from the parking lot and we’ll bring it out to the vehicle.

* Cultivar is a term used in botany to describe plants that are cultivated to have distinct characteristics. The term strain is often used to refer to a cultivar of cannabis, however, the term strain is not strictly correct in the field of botany, though it is used in other fields of biology.
